Problem 6 The beam AB is supported at A , and B , and is loaded as shown. The beam has the same cross section as in problem 1. The plane of lading is passing by point "B" of the cross section as shown in Fig. 2b. You are required to: i- Plot the variation of the internal reaction diagrams over the length of the beam. ii- Identify the section that feels the maximum, bending, transverse shear, and twisting moment, and determine their values. iii- At that section, determine the points that feel the maximum normal stress, and maximum shear stress. iv- Consider the points at the outer and inner surfaces at point B of the cross- section, and determine all the stress components at these points. Hence determine the principal stresses at these points.
