1) While researching if any other countries have tort reform laws I found that Germany revamped their tort reform laws two decades ago. In 2002 Germany revamped their tort laws to make compensation for non pecuniary loss less generous than it previously was. These changes took place due to a large suit filed against Lufthansa airlines after a fateful plane crash due to a suicidal pilot. Even though this is an awful tragedy had the lawsuit gotten any larger it could have been detrimental to the German economy hence why they put these revamped tort laws into place

2A) I personally don't think that any employees should be concerned about their privacy because of all the data being collected and stored because their is nothing an employee should be doing at work that should make them concerned about this. When I am working I don't do anything that I wouldn't want my boss to see or read online and that is the way that a office space should be. Employees are hired to preform a job and if you are worried about what data is being collected and stored by your employer than you are doing something wrong at your job. If you are worried about you cell phone data being collected then my recommendation would be to stay off of the companies networks. 

2B.) I do not think that there should be more protection for indiciduals privacy in regards to pre employment screening tests like personality or cognitive testing because I feel that it is the employers right to get a complete picture of whom it is that they are hiring. I think that personality tests can show how a potential employee may work with the rest of your staff. Cognitive testing can show what a potential employee actually knows about the job they are getting interviewed for. As long as employers are following existing laws I see zero problems with pre employment screening tests like personality or cognitive testing.
