  1. A marketing researcher was asked to study the impact of four different potential price points for a new smart phone that SAMSUNG was considering to come to market with in 2022.  The researcher got the bright idea that she would take the 104 Verizon stores in Los Angeles County and randomly assign 26 of the stores to each different price point.  In other words, 26 of the stores would be given the phone to sell for $599, 26 of the stores would sell the phones for $549, 26 stores would sell the phones for $519 and 26 stores would sell them for $499.  Each store was given an inventory of 200 phones to sell and the dependent measure of interest was the actual number of phones sold per store.

The completed ANOVA table is given below

Source Sum of Squares Degrees of Freedom Mean Square F
Between (Price Points) 633.6 3 211.2 4.482135126
Within (error) 4712.04 100 47.1204 ----
Total 5,345.64 103 ---- ----

Does your result support or reject the notion that sales are significantly different across the price points? Perform the appropriate test at alpha = .05 to examine this issue. What do you find? Show all work!
