A new language is discovered in which people talk about pitch in terms of SIZE; however, they don't use any other metaphors, like THICKNESS or HEIGHT. A researcher brings speakers of this language into the lab, where they listen to musical tones, and are then asked to sing those tones back. Meanwhile, the researcher runs one of two interference tasks. In the "Size" interference task, pictures of small or big circles are displayed on the screen.
