A new study came out that claims people who regularly use tanning beds may double or even triple their risk of developing Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. The study found that people who have ever tanned indoors have a higher risk of Melanoma on average, than people who have never tried indoor tanning. The new study, a survey based in Minnesota (cooler climate, northern part of the US), included nearly 1,200 melanoma patients and 1,200 cancer-free group of participants. The researchers asked the participants a series of questions, including whether they had ever tanned indoors before, how many sessions, lengths, and so on. Then they compared the results between the two groups (groups with and without Melanoma). Question: Is this study able to establish a causality between tanning bed use and skin cancer? Please explain Yes/No.
