An inductance is carried out using a type FT 63 torus, made of type T 6 material. We read on the manufacturer's manual:
? ? = 6.3 mm; ? ? = 3.8 mm; ? e = 2.5 mm; lmoy=1.6 cm; ? AL = 1 ?H; ? S = 0.032cm2
Material characteristic:
H(A/m)0 2 5 10 15 20 25 B(mT)0 10 25 50 65 75 80
1. How many coils do you need to coil to obtain an inductance of 2.5 mH?
2. Using a graph, define the linearity domain of B(H).
3. Deduce the maximum value of the current passing through it if this inductance is to remain constant.
4. Deduce the corresponding absolute and relative permeabilities. 5. Calculate the Rluctance of this magnetic circuit.
6. For the intensity defined in 3, calculate the flow through a straight section (i.e. a coil) of the torus.
7. What would be the inductance coefficient of a torus with the same number of coils and geometric dimensions as the previous one, but whose support would be made of plastic?
