Choose a work of art (broadly conceived... so visual, performing, musical, literary, etc. are ok), and write a review of it. If you are able, this should be a work of art that you can experience in person. Your review should contain the major components of an art review that we discussed in class, that is: some description of the artwork to help the reader understand and make sense of it, some secondary research to put the work in context (social, historical, artistic, etc.) and make some judgements and interpretations about the work. Your review should also take into account the context and situation in which the work is being displayed.
