He Snoops to Conquer Conroy Smith, the manager of a large clothing department store in Nashville, was worried. Sales had been declining for the last four months. But still nothing showed up. As the theft continued, Mr Smith reluctantly decided to have Mr Parker install a hidden camera at the checkout station. The latter also suggested that they install microphones in restrooms, the stock room and employees' lounges. Within ten days, the camera had revealed who the thief was. In addition, Conroy and Wayne learnt that one employee was selling cocaine, another planned to quit without giving notice and three were extorting money from business operators downtown. A.
