Hi.

I need some assistance creating a network

1. Single Area OSPF

To adapt and create a configuration on both Norman and Edward routers only.

  • Create on Norman and Edward an OSPF area 0 entry that advertises LSA’s out of the Gi0/0/0 interface only.
  • Create on Norman – an OSPF entry that matches the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet.
  • Add a loopback interface to Edward – give it an IP address of 123.123.123.123/24 – add this network to OSPF area 0
  • Ping 123.123.123.123 from both PC0 and PC1

Ensure that this is saved to the ‘running configuration’.a loopback will be required for task 4.

2. Access Control Lists.

To work out which interface on which router this needs to be applied to. Each ACL must work and be seen to work. Based on the following to stop any IP address from 10.0.0.64 to 10.0.0.127 from pinging 123.123.123.123 – yet allowing all other addresses.

Creating an ACL that meets the above ‘selected’ criteria

Proving that a change of IP address, other than those allocated to the PC’s also demonstrates the operation of the ACL. Also prove that you are still able to ping to 99.0.0.2 irrespective of device IP address, please provide screenshots.

3: NAT.

To set up Network Address Translation (NAT) - set up the 10.0.0.0 Network to be overloaded on 99.0.0.1 via Norman.

Check if NAT is working by pinging 123.123.123.123 on a device/IP-address combination that is allowed based what has been accomplished with task 2. Note that you will need to use Cisco IOS commands to prove that this is working.

Prove through testing that a change of IP address, other than those allocated to the PC’s also demonstrates the operation of the ACL and provide screenshots.

4: Etherchannel.

There are two ‘redundant’ cables between Henry and Scott switches.

For the pair of cables, create a PaGP - channel group

Ping 99.0.0.2 from PC1 to prove that it is operational providing screenshot

Check that ‘show etherchannel summary’ is presenting PaGP information on all switches providing screenshot

Please also input configurations.

Thank you
