The penny is first dissolved in concentrated nitric acid and then diluted to a volume of \( 2000 \mathrm{~mL} \) (Solution A). Then, \( 25 \mathrm{~mL} \) of solution \( A \) is added to a \( 500 \mathrm{~mL} \) volumetric flask and diluted to the mark (Solution B). A third solution is made by placing \( 10 \mathrm{~mL} \) of solution \( \mathrm{B} \) in a \( 250 \mathrm{~mL} \) volumetric flask and diluting to the mark. (Solution C). c.
