Its goal is to create new and exciting industrial robots to work in factories and social robots to help older people in their homes.

Each research and development centre are identified by a unique number, its address and telephone number.

Each of the research and development centres employs many robotics experts. Each expert works at a single centre. A robot expert is available to work on the development of more than one robot. However, at a specific time they may not be working on the robot development as they are working on other tasks in their role.

Information such as staff id, name, telephone number, salary and qualification are stored on the experts. Each robot has a unique prototype number, a name and a function.

A robot can be developed by one or more experts. Whenever a development process is performed by an expert on a robot the company wishes to store the activity performed, the date, who performed it, the robot worked on and the duration of the activity
