The site I am reviewing is called thisiswhyimbroke.com
The categories are under tabs titled What's New, Gifts by Recipient, Gifts by Occasion, Gifts by Category, More Categories. And then under each of those tabs are more specific categories.
The website reviews different and unique novelty gifts. For example a purse that looks like a Mcdonalds bag, or the dissolving swim shorts. A lot of the items are all in good fun, some of them are more expensive than others. If you search the web and find all the strange and odd items and review them.
I think the type of items that they review and post on their site will interest people to scroll through the site like people do with tik tok. The items are so strange and odd that it will catch people to start looking at the site and to keep going. And they have those great gag gifts for that one person that you can never seem to find, this is the site to check out. This is the first time I have seen the site and I cannot stop scrolling through it.
The only fine print that I could find on the site is this:

Many items listed on this site do return a small commission for product referral, however this is not the sole motivation for featuring an item. Our staff regularly lists products that we receive absolutely no compensation for. We do not carry any of the products listed on the site, nor do we directly sell anything.

I believe the fine print is pretty much cut and dry. It doesn't get very descriptive but says enough to understand what the whole concept of the site is.

Affiliate Site: Wirecutter
Categories of Products: Mainly reviews electronics and different types of consumer goods
Quality of Reviews: Wirecutter's reviews are of a high quality - the information is communicated in a simple style, and it also provides a good insight into specifics of each product. Moreover, products in the top selection are being compared with each other as well, which helps to choose the best option between the top choices. Moreover, Wirecutter itself claims that their reviews "take weeks or months of research and years of experience." They also gather data from professionals in different industries. This is why I believe their reviews can influence a purchase. To be honest, I went through their website and read "The Best Air Fryer" article, and now I want to buy one of them!
Disclosure: Wirecutter is very transparent when it comes to explaining how they make money. In the "About Us" section, Wirecutter states, "We earn money through subscriptions and various affiliate marketing programs. That means we may get paid commissions on products purchased through our links to retailer sites." The disclosure statement is quite easy to find, as it is mentioned in the 3rd paragraph of the "About Us" section. Despite being an affiliate website, Wirecutter points out that it recommends "products based on independent research, analysis, interviews, and testing." Also, if the reader returns the product due to a bad recommendation, Wirecutter won't make any commission.
All in all, wirecutter sounds like a great example of what an affiliate website should be - brief, precise, transparent.

My plan of action for improving communication would be to be more conscious of what the assignments are requesting to reach the full points allowed to be earned. Communicating the confusion that I have with assignments needs to become a priority in order to succeed.
Taking more time when using the online smartbook will help me understand the course objectives more thoroughly versus using the information for short-term memory to complete quizzes and assignments.
