Question 2: Outside of the lab, what tasks might also include physical separation techniques (distilling, decanting, etc...)? Why does this work for that task?
Question 3: In the laboratory, we measure out certain amounts of reagents to perform chemical reactions. What do you think is more precise: aiming for a specific number of moles and trying to measure out an exact mass of reagent, or approximately massing out a reagent and calculating the resultant number of moles? Why?
