2. This company is planning to expand into a new country which has tremendous business potential and would like to set up a manufacturing plant there. Assume the foreign country, imagine it has been hit by Covid and is under lockdown for the next two months. Explain the possible cultural, ethical, legal, technological and other challenges that the company could face and how should it overcome them?
3. You have been appointed as General Manager to head the company's manufacturing Operations, based in the capital of the foreign country, and will be leading a cross cultural, cross functional management team comprising of Manager Production (from Canada, male 35 years), Manager Finance (from India, female 45 years), Manager HR (a local from the country, male 50 years), Manager Supply Chain (from Germany, male 60 years)
3.1 What personality traits should each of these managers possess in order to perform their respective jobs. Explain in detail how the specific traits of each person will enable that person to do his/her job better.
3.2 Elaborate the challenges that you will face in communicating with each of these managers. What would be the purpose of communication, the means and channels of communication?
