The answers the revision sheet says is 888m for bii) but the answer i get is 998m. i found the volumetric flow as 7.85 x10^-5 meaning the velocity is 0.885m/s Then i get the reynolds number as 8850 to decipher turbulent flow. On the moody diagram the roughness for cast iron is 0.15mm therefore the relative roughness is 0.015. Using the moody diagram i get the darcy friction factor as 0.05 and then using the darcy weishbach equation for headloss i found the headloss to be 998m so not sure where im going wrong.
