Two rival companies are trying to out-do each other making really fine copper wires. Company 1 sends a sample of its "fine wire" to Company 2. To demonstrate how advanced they are, Company 2 returns the sample with a hole drilled lengthwise and off axis. It is almost impossible to determine diameters of these wires with microscopes or meter sticks because they are so fragile, so we will use resistance measurements. If it is found that the resistance has increased by , find the ratio of the hole radius to the wire radius. (Figure shows a cross-section of the wire.)
